Looking for a headset to replace some Plantronics Voyager 8200s.

Didn't realize HP bought Plantronics/Poly and the newer model is the Poly Voyager Surround 80. Reading that these are not quite as good as the previous model.

Other models considering:
Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4
Sony WH-1000XM4 / 5
Bose QC

Needs to have a decent mic with outside noise canceling.

I just bought and returned the Sennheuser 450SE. They sounded really good but noise cancelling wasn't great and they were a bit small.

I was between momentum 4 and B&W PX7 S2E. Both have great reviews, but the Bowers and Wilkins looked better in my opinion. I've been very happy with them. Sound is awesome and they are very comfortable. I would buy again.

I love my plantronics. I hope they haven't gone downhill.

Check out Yealink. They’ve come out with some really good stuff lately. But of your list, I’ve seen the best results from Sennheiser.

Are you connecting this to a desk phone or softphone? If you are using a softphone, sign up for krisp.io. It’s an app that does active noise canceling better than anything I’ve encountered and it has other features like transcription and more. Well worth the cost and would allow you to go for something less expensive on the headset.

My daily drivers and i like them a lot. I can wear them all day from a comfort and battery standpoint without issue.

Jabra has some good stuff. I have an older set I use at the home office.
