Jeffries would be great as speaker-- he's old school Democratic who's far removed from the Ilhan Omar/Rashida Talib wing of the party. But why would any sane Republican want to can Johnson?

Trump bitched out on the Ukraine funding, but I don't see a need to take down Johnson now. Revelator is right.

There really is no chance, Johnson is protected by Democrats, the Pentagon, and the intelligence agencies.
And there is no chance after November if the Republicans win. You usually don’t replace a House leader after you win.
The best chance to get Johnson out is for the Republicans to lose the House.
