Big difference between not showing emotion during a loss, vs just a general lack of interest. I may be wrong, but something is missing.

Gasso makes nearly 2 mil, less than zero chance Scott W is going to pay anything remotely close to that. Call Marissa Young, excellent coach and is underpaid at Duke

Damn I didn’t even think about the Duke coach. She’d kill it at LSU.

Beth won’t be canned this year but I’d be shocked if we don’t take a huge step back from what was only a regional team this year. That freshmen class better be historically good on top of Howard Dobson being sent away

My guess if they let things play out next year and make some decisions from there on the future.

Next year gonna be a major struggle unless they can land some quality portal pickups, as we've seen from many of our freshmen classes recently, not all of them are gonna translate day 1 and will likely take more than a year to develop (which hasn't been our strong suit overall)

Granted I do think Berzon and Heavener are gonna be a nice duo but you still have to score runs to compete and we will lose quite a bit of experience between Gutierrez, Pleasants, briggs, etc

Sad to say but replacing pleasant won’t be difficult at all. Stick a fricking broom out there at this point

Batting wise yes but you can easily find a SS who kicks the ball around in the dirt a bit more. Her regression at the plate has been sad to be honest. From making the national team and hitting solidly internationally to not being able to hit at all this year is disappointing.
