I sure hope the weak schedule has their confidence up. LSU really needs to win this game. The way I see it, LSU has had the weakest schedule in the whole country up to now. If LSU wants a shot at making the tournament, they need to get a few wins against quality teams. Looking at LSU's schedule and with the sec being terrible this year, LSU has to win these games against quality teams and need very few losses to make the tournament.

i think .500 in the sec gets us in as a 6 or 7

Normally I would say even a big loss in this game will not make or break our season guttata.

But given our very weak schedule to this point, this game game has set up as a defining test.

Our first opponent of comparable talent, perhaps a bit more when bench players are figured in, I think our kids and our fans see this as an a barometer with which to measure how good this team will be.

I think you will see the intentsity to match. Will that tranlate to a nervous and jittery performance or will that intentsity be channeled into excecution and heightened performance.

It will be interesting to see. And I look forward to it.
