How about General Flynn?
Trump should take a page out of obamas book and appoint "czars"
You put Flynn in as a secretary he has to abide by government policy
Toss him in as a broom to sweep up the mess caused by fbi Cia doj sos.doe etc etc, he can be much more effective

Why
Some of you really haven’t studied WW2 in the Pacific.
Read EB Sledge’s book With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa. After reading that, you’ll fully understand why dropping the atomic bombs was necessary.

What the FBI/DOJ did to him is a disgrace, but he has acted like a crazy LARPer the last few years.

Correct, he was done very dirty. Not sure if that pushed him to embrace the stuff he has or if he was predisposed.

I have fully supported Trump, but I don't agree not understand why the hell he backed traitor Mike Johnson on this Ukraine money.

So I'll fully understand why that 10 year school boy and that grandmother had to be nuked off the face of the Earth?

So no other options?

There is a difference between sending our troops to die in overseas wars and giving training and weapons to a free people who want to stand on their own two feet feet and defend themselves.

Do you realize after we dropped both a-bombs, that Japan’s government still didn’t want to surrender? It was the Emperor who finally made the unprecedented move to tell the militarists that he wanted Japan to surrender.
It’s a damn shame the WW2 generation is largely dead now and their ungrateful grandchildren and great-grandchildren will never be able to hear about the absolute brutality with which the Japs fought.
Hell, look up the Rape of Nanking or the Butan Death March. This revisionist history from the political right is truly stunning to me.

We could have waited to plan an invasion of the Home Island. The entire nation would have been killed practically.

Again, you're not comprehending. The Japanese and American soldiers fought fierce battles. But you are really going to defend the actions of the American government to obliterate innocent civilians? The reaction would be different if we nuked their largest naval station, or other military stronghold.
How would you feel if we were in a hot war with another country and they detonated bombs at every public gathering until we surrendered? How would that go with millions of dead civilians, many of whom would be against the conflict to begin with?

Trump specifically said that the only credible source for administration personnel is Trump.

Yes. And there doesn’t exist a person in this world who would not ultimately be deemed “the worst pick ever.”
Posted on 4/29/24 at 3:32 pm to davyjones
What is they were the worst pick ever? Would the Trump faithful admit it?
Posted on 4/29/24 at 3:44 pm to roadGator
I can't think of a worse Secretary of State than Blinkin. Of course sending out completely mixed signals to adversaries and allies alike from the Big Guy has to be problematic.
