This is what I am wondering about as a (let’s just say it how it is) white person still in Baton Rouge proper. Has my property value effectively peaked and it’s time to uproot and get the hell out or will the changes not be as noticeable and more localized to the parts of town that are already in the gutter.

You’ll be ok if you live in a good neighborhood now. That was the fear tactic the status quo was promoting to garner support.
