Which neighborhoods that weren’t already garbage 30 years ago are losing value? Most people’s answers will be the ones that flooded dramatically in 2016. That is what rocked the value, not crime. If you look at neighborhoods in BR that are south of Florida and did not flood in ‘16, the consistent trend is an increase in property value. Even as the demographics and crime trends in the city have changed. Look at New Orleans. 25 years ago we all should’ve been buying $400k mansions Uptown. Can’t even touch most of em now for less than $1.5mil
