Pro Life vs Pro Choice is Irrelevant when it comes to how this Country should be governed.

We certainly have bigger fish to fry.
Staggering inflation, national debt, weak foreign policy, powerful military with commander in chief who is incapable of using it effectively. Crazy radical energy policy totally unrealistic. Threats of terrorism from within and threats from enemies on the world scene. Border policy that allows anyone to cross at will. Then they are given money, shelter, benefits all in the name of future Democratic voters. A populace who would vote for Biden is obviously misguided and misinformed.

Do you not think all this may stem from us legalizing it in the first place?

It’s a state level issue, period.
This is basic civics. Powers not enumerated to the federal govt are reserved for the states.

If you believe unborn babies are human beings then its hard to think of a bigger issue than the active genocide of millions of innocents every year.
If you don't believe it then of course it's not a big issue to yourself.
There is obviously a discussion around how effective is it to be pragmatic and incremental about elimination of abortion vs scorched earth. Both sides have fair points.
But it's definitely not correct to say there are bigger issues. Morally there aren't any bigger issues than active genocide.
That doesn't mean it's a politically beneficial thing for the GOP to run on.
Being important morally and politically are very different things.
The real discussion is incrementalism vs abolitionism being more practical to achieve and therefore a better solution.

No, the country is likely better off with allowing irresponsible women to abort their children.
That said, I don't think it's moral.

What makes a country stronger and successful?
- Security
- Financial strength
- Rule of law
- Secure borders
- Education
- and other true government responsibilities
Or chasing issues of passion and feelings like arguing about gender, calling everyone a racist, and chasing equity.

Because this is the single most important issues. It solves so many issues:
- Solves the debt problem
- Will prevent further wars of the next world war
- Secures the border
- Improves the disastrous education system
It’s just so important.

I would argue it’s a symptom of a much larger issue.
A society that kills its own young is doomed. We encourage our females to kill our own offspring in exchange for the ability to work more at the widget factory and make marginally more money. We are trading families for materialism.
We then import the 3rd world to help make up for this population cliff that is coming.
So it’s not irrelevant. It’s a symptom of how degraded our culture is.

Nope. Everything is tied to the idea that it is ok to be sacrificing babies for convenience.

I realize that the Declaration isn't the Constitution but it is the founding document of the country and it states life (obvioisky) as an inalienable right. It should be illegal federally based on that.

I get a kick out of those that seem to think we can go back to the 1950's in one election.
Dems spend decades to get where they are going as they understand sea changes do not happen overnight in our government.
And they also understand absolutists on the right will help them along the way by weakening the right leaning vote as they fracture the party.
Absolutists would rather sit home and pout than vote for someone that would stop the leftward swing versus moving things all the way back in one fell swoop.

A country so toxic that it would rather kill millions of innocent babies because why not is already ruined. It's a willing genocide so people can continue to sleep around without consequence. There's always a consequence, we have no moral compass. We no longer know right from wrong. We don't know what a woman is. We don't know what a criminal is but we know what's on Netflix. Suicide is biggest killer for young folks. Our society was based on life being sacred, it longer is.

The 14th Amendment might have something to say about that.

It’s a convenient way for them to feel moral and “pro life” but actually be pro choice.
They are fine with a woman in Louisiana killing her child as long as she has to drive two states over to do it.
It’s an asinine stance when you give it any sort of actual thought

It would be great if republicans in congress would actually address issues of governance. They haven’t done that in several decades

You would think, huh? But there are way too many idiots in this country who have been duped by the rhetoric of the Demwits about a woman having control of her own body. So to keep them happy we must allow them to have their abortions.
In the mean time we are being raped at the gas pumps, (thank you Joe) and prices on anything and everything have risen due to our energy policies put forth by the Biden clown show. Illegals flood into our country through open borders and are given gift cards, lodging, food, free flights around the country without being screened like our own citizens have to be subject to, and now there are discussions about allowing them to vote. Who do you think is paying for all of this? Answer: The American taxpayers!

I'll start caring about abortion when someone proves that the soul is fixed to the fetus at conception. Until this happens, my belief that the soul isn't fixed until birth is equally provable and therefore valid.
If Republicans were smart, they would get a lot in exchange for democrats' love of abortion. But they're not. Pushing their beliefs on others is more important than economic prosperity and personal freedoms.
