So according to you him going 2 for 19 in SEC play has not hurt the team? Do you not think if he had 4 or 5 more hits it would have made a difference in those 1 run losses. Sure he is a good defensive centerfielder but he has not hit in SEC play this year or last year.

Obviously facts and logic are too difficult for Klingers fan bois.

Let me rephrase your statement in the manner you are now using.

According to you, the nine-slot hitter being 2 for 19 is a big reason LSU is not winning more SEC games. Not the atrocious ERA of the pitching staff as a whole or the incredibly bad batting averages with RISP (Kling is batting above .500 with RISP according tot he graphic they posted last night). No, according to you, Kling batting 9th is the big reason.

Is anyone arguing he has hit well? Is anyone here suggesting his bat is the reason he is playing?

The closest you get are people saying he has hit the ball really hard right at people, which he did for a while, though he had a stretch where he clearly looked like he was overthinking at the plate and struck out a lot. But the last couple of SEC have not looked that way, he is back to getting the barrel on the ball.
