Lying about the kids having knives (as well as trying to hide his own) certainly isn’t a good look

This CourtTV analyst earlier thinks he's basically screwed for lying about the knife.
He very well might be, but she just said she doesn't find Miu empathetic, maybe because of his accent, even though she herself as an accent.
She also keeps harping on "ripping someone's guts out and murdering someone else". Seems like she's already made her mind up that he overreacted to kids being kids.

Stated he blacked out and couldn't remember anything, but recalls perfectly while on the stand. Defense has done a good job of prepping him to present the story they want to tell.

No one from where any Nicoli is from is going to have much empathy. They dont live in a cupcake world like we do.

Yes, I dont see how most dudes have not run into this.
My group of buddies know how to have a good time but its hard to imagine any one of them holding a dudes head under water or even pushing him when we were that age.
Standing up to him and telling him to take a walk, that wouldve happened without a doubt.
Oh, and if one of our boys got stabbed it wouldnt have ended there. This wouldve gotten much more violent once that happened.

These female CourtTV analysts seem to think he still needs to show emotion or remorse to appeal to the jury. They're not going to get that from him.

This prosecutor seems like he sucks at his job, or that he is really trying to make something from not much of anything.

When you look at the events prior to the stabbing and the stabbing itself, it'd be really hard to make a case against the guy. Prosecutor is going to rely heavily on the post-stabbing conversation with Nicolie lying to police to make him seem guilty to the jury. Defense needs to bifurcate that and show how it is almost irrelevant to the stabbing.
