That was a perfectly sane, rational, patriotic position 40-50 years ago. Now, if you are a white, heterosexual, Christian male who is gainfully employed, you are considered the most existential threat to this country, and most of the government is actively working to destroy you.
No, they wouldn’t be drafting me anyway, but I would sell everything I own to help my sons get somewhere else in the world. This country no longer deserves the loyalty, much less their lives.
