Why would someone who was a #1 option, who came here to prove herself at a new position, then take a backseat to a guard of the same build, who can already play the position, in their last year? That makes no sense. I said HVL should leave. I didn't say to the WNBA though.

First, Hailey must realize she is never going to be a PG. She doesn't dribble well enough, have never seen her drive to the basket, etc. So the answer is she made a mistake thinking she could translate her game to being a PG. As far as going WNBA goes, I do agree with you. She isn't going to make it into the pros unless she gets better. She is a bulldog defensively but a fast guard can still drive around her. I refer you to the first half of the Middle Tennessee State game.

I’m so tired of hearing about her position change. If you can ball you can ball it doesn’t matter.

Would Clark be less efficient as a 1,2 or 3?

Did James harden become worse from going to sg to pg?

She wasn’t good this year. She shot poorly and made terrible decisions with the ball.

Her best bet is to come back to school, she has no future in the wnba

It was wayyyy before MTSU, it was the first game of the season and on. Sherrod at Colorado put it on display night 1. Auburn really took advantage of it in the first game. Any team that had a lead guard with speed, let them attack her 1 on 1 because everyone knew the scout.

Funny enough, I thought she had her best game of pure PG this whole season in the Sweet 16 game against UCLA. Good on the defensive end, good entry passes, opportunistic on offense but not forcing it. Numbers were nothing to look at, but impact on the offense running clean and smooth and pressure across the timeline, was exactly what Mulkey wanted.

I've said it her before, her best result in the league is that 6th woman, spark plug off someone's bench for her offense, but its just a fact she's a liability on defense and its not due to effort.

Clark left her looking like she was just standing there. A weak screen against her led to easy points over and over.

HVL WILL NOT make a WNBA roster. She's too short to be a SG and too slow with poor dribbling to be a PG. She lacks court vision and can't handle the ball when pressured. HVL will be playing overseas when she leaves LSU.

HVL couldn't handle being pressured and was a liability on defense. I think her best option would be to leave and start her career overseas. I just don't think LSU would be best served by HVL returning.
