Some of these assholes need to understand the way kids were coached before society got so damned soft. Mulkey is an old-school coach who coaches to win basketball games - that’s it. That’s her mission. And she’s damn good at it. Frick this feel-good bullshite.

Don't follow women's basketball. Same level as hockey. But Coach Mulkey gives me hope.
Every coach I've ever had or known of pushes their players to the limit. They don't tolerate mediocrity. The emphasize discipline, focus, courage. They do NOT want you distracted by off-the-field/court issues. It's about the team and goals - about about you.
And when your playing days are over, you look back and are thankful that they made you a better person.

It’s not a bad article. A lot of it is about how tough Mulkey is. Those who hate her will probably find ways to confirm what they want to believe from it. The anti-woke mob will probably find ways to justify all their conspiracies about the media from it. I doubt that there is any way to write an article like this that correctly conveys what Mulkey is like without it sounding like a hit piece, but that’s the reader’s problem not the writer’s.
I suspect most who comment on it will never have actually read it. They’ll just parrot what others say.

This was way overblown.
It's an article about a public figure that is the defending national champion leading her team in the NCAA Tournament. It talks about her coaching and personality style.
Mulkey's press conference made this a big deal. It wasn't.

Mulkey has NEVER stated who she backs politically. It would be easy to find this if she did as the attacks on her would be ten-fold.
