I've had my dogs vaccinated against snake bite ... I hope I never have to find out if it works.
In the past, years ago, I lost a good Border Collie to a canebrake bite but I had a Blue Healer survive a cotton mouth bite. Both times there were quick trips, 30 minutes or less, to the vet ... one survived, one didn't.
