No one believes the Pelicans are going to become the Celtics or Lakers.

They are a fun team to watch and are good this year. They could win a playoff series.

I don’t even understand what these people are talking about.

A 41-41 record with a player who scores 25 a night. I've been watching the NBA for 40 years and the Pels are similar.

Pels are 44-27

You’ve already shown you’re incapable of discussing this, because you don’t understand what you’re watching. That’s if you have even watched this season

because they don’t know what they’re talking about. Some of these dudes can’t even name a starting 5 yet will try to comment on what’s happening in the league

their opinion on the NBA this year is whatever they heard Stephen A Smith say 4 and a half months ago.

e's still fat, overrated, and slow. Lose another 20 lbs and can definitely be better than Charles Barkley

Not sure he'll ever have to mentality and motor to rebound like Chuck.

But the talent is off the charts. Thing is he really struggles to get in shape and the only way he ever does get in shape is by playing.....and the rub is he's been hurt so much he never gets in shape. This is the most he's played in a while this year...knock on wood.

So far, so good. He stays on the court he will get only better, just the law of the jungle. They have a lot of nice pieces around him and Herb Jones better make the All-Defensive team this year.

They are no better than an average team, and won't make it past the 2nd round. Jesus Christ, it's the typical NOLA mentality. The acceptance of mediocrity. Want to be first in everything that's last, and last in everything that's first.

They are actually 17 games ahead of an average team haha

They have the 7th best record out of 30 teams.

If you wanna see an average team look at the rockets or the warriors

So a 2nd round playoff team, aka a top 4 team in the conference is an average team? Got it.

The championship or bust mentality of sports culture now is annoying as heck.

Being 5th in the standings and a possible match up with the Clippers is a recipe for a 1st round exit. Go ahead. Enjoy yourselves

are there really people that spend their waking hours being afraid of losing a potential playoff matchup? the point is to get in and then hope your team is at their best come playoff time, like the Lakers last year.

the Clippers could be without Paul George or Kawhi in a month like they have been their entire tenure in LA, who knows?

It's still much better than having your team go 35-35 and missing the playoffs while also not getting a top 5 pick like the Rockets are doing.
