The Pelicans are:

.5 games back of the Clippers

3-1 vs the Clippers

Regardless, the Pelicans have a MUCH tougher schedule than the Clipps down the stretch and are missing Brandon Ingram, so they likely don't finish 4th.

But are you aware how condensed the Western Conference is?

Probably not. What are you trying to accomplish in this thread?

Sure, the Clippers are a good team. The Pels could get bounced in the first round (just like any other team in the conference other than the Nuggets), or the could max out and make the Conference finals.

I am. The team I root or is better this year than they have been in a long time and they have a pretty high ceiling, I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can.

You on the other hand, just sound like a dumb version of SAS with your fat jokes. Do better. At least know something about the team you are hating on instead of a lazy regurgitated take. Zion is on fire right now and that really can't even be argued.

As a Pels fan, I think the guy is just unstoppable..

When he is right and engaged he can be. There not another player with his size and explosiveness combo. In a sport where you have to try to avoid contact (as much as reasonably possible), there just not much you can do physically with a guy that big.

The sad thing is either because of injury, or just simply a deficit in competitiveness relative to other player, he hasn't always put it together. You can say this about hundreds, maybe thousands of players, in every sport. But in basketball if you could somehow insert the insane level of competitiveness guys like Jordan and Kobe had into Zion's body you would have an unstoppable force.

This season he has been that guy.

Your wiener must be really small. I get that it probably upsets you but you should learn to cope with it in other ways.

Nope. I'd laid more pipe in Metairie than Earls plumbing. When the Pelicans bow out in the first round, thank me. They aren't that good

They’ll be a 50 win team playing vs a 50 win team.

That was some "matador" defense. Wow. The Detroit center looked like he had never played basketball and was sleep walking. I'm like most people on this board where Zion has to be consistent and show that he wants to be great year after year. He does need to lose some weight to ever be considered for the Hall Of Fame. He's getting there..... slowly but surely.

On the Bill simmons podcast they were ranking franchises with the best outlook for the next 5 years or so and russillo had the pelicans at 4 and simmons had them at 6. Not sure if I should believe them or a TD poster that doesn't even watch the nba and says they are average
