Starting to see more of these unanimous rulings.
I feel that whenever the FBI loses, America wins.

The Supreme Court unanimously ruled Tuesday that a man’s challenge to his former placement on the No Fly List can move forward, finding the government failed to show his lawsuit is moot.
Yonas Fikre, a U.S. citizen who previously resided in Sudan, claimed his placement on the list was unlawful and sued the FBI.
The government later removed him from the list and signaled it was unlikely he would be readded. It then contended Fikre’s lawsuit was moot as a result and should be tossed.
The government warned that not declaring lawsuits like Fikre’s moot at the onset could require the government to disclose classified information. The Supreme Court rejected that assertion, enabling Fikre’s case to move ahead.
“Necessarily, our judgment is a provisional one,” Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote in the court’s opinion.
“Just because the government has not yet demonstrated that Mr. Fikre’s case is moot does not mean it will never be able to do so,” the conservative justice continued. “This case comes to us in a preliminary posture, framed only by uncontested factual allegations and a terse declaration. As the case unfolds, the complaint’s allegations will be tested rather than taken as true, and different facts may emerge that may call for a different conclusion.”

I'm torn about this one.
On one hand, the government ALWAYS abuses it's power.
On the other hand, no fly lists are bullshite these days. What is someone gonna do? shite in the aisles? Pitch a fit and throw peanuts?
No fly lists are there for one reason and one reason only. For inconvenience and embarrassment purposes.

A majority of the court’s decisions in recent years are 9-0 or 8-1.
Unanimous opinions don’t get plastered on the news for weeks though.

Good. People who cause ruckus or can’t behave in public shouldn’t be in a metal tube 30,000 feet in the air with 200 normal people.
I’m all for inconveniencing and embarrassing people who do stupid and obnoxious or aggressive shite on airplanes.

I know someone who was on the NFL and supposedly the reason was because he has the exact same name as a IRA member that has been wanted for years but is still on the lam. He was taking steps to get his name removed, but I don't know the outcome of that as I haven't spoke to him in a couple of years.

It's good to see the Court not automatically folding at the mention of the word "classified". The gov has been using that crap to hide embarrassing shite forever.
Surprised the FBI didn't toss in "sources and methods" or "national security".
