What is the best Pearl Harbor tour? What are the best restaurants in Oahu? Is it worth visiting the North Shore? If so, what to do there?

TIA

We took the tour that brings you out to the Arizona Memorial. That was fun and a good value. Otherwise we walked the grounds and went into the free museums.

Sushi Cafe was a great local, family owned casual sushi place in Honolulu.

North Shore is definitely worth it if you have a car. Any of the beaches are great to visit. We enjoyed Waimea Bay. Get there early as they get crowded.

Honolulu is not Hawaii, in my opinion, so you will definitely want to rent a car and drive around the island to truly experience Hawaii. We love the North Shore. The Dole Plantation in the middle of the island is a pretty cool stop too.

If you can manage to fit in another island on your trip, I highly recommend Kauai. It is the most beautiful place on Earth, in my estimation.

- What are the best restaurants in Oahu?
Highly recommend the restaurant House Without a Key in Honolulu! Make reservations far in advance.

Yes, it's definitely worth visiting the North Shore. We hopped around to a few different beaches, ate the best acea bowls at Hale'iwa Bowls, shopped, and watched the sunset from one of the beaches. It was an awesome, relaxing day.

I think it's the same Pearl Harbor tour for everyone.
We drove there ourselves and you watch a video and at the time you had a veteran that discussed his first hand experiences. Then you boarded the boat that takes you out to the site. You can also go on one of the ships as well.

We ate in China town in Honolulu.

You definitely need to get away from the bustling Honolulu part of Hawaii

Keep in mind, it's the major city on the islands where people work. Like others said, if you have a vehicle you definitely want to explore the other parts of the island.

Tim Ho Wan restaurant. At Royal Hawaiian Center.

Dukes on Waikiki beach for casual food and their famous Hula pie.

North Shore is worth it.

Lanikai beach is closer and a beautiful beach and water. Often voted one if best in country. Parking is tough. I often park in nearby Kailua and walk. Kailua has good restaurants and some shopping for the ladies.

Island Vintage Coffee in Royal Hawaiian Center for coffee, smoothies, smoothie bowls if your wife likes those.

Check out the Royal Hawaiian and Moana hotels- very nice old hotels that are oldest in Hawaii.

Welcome center, Arizona and Aviation. No need for any of the narrated tours

Wide open question as most of my favorite places are food trucks but if I had to pick one restaurant it would be House Without a Key at the Halekalani Hotel. Make a reservation for about 30-45 minutes before sunset.

Definitely.

Shark's Cove snorkeling, watch the surfers at Laniakea beach, Polynesian Cultural Center, food truck lunch at the beer garden in Kuhuku
