he and his frat bros pre-gamed before going out.

he was drunk as shite which is why the bar kicked him out after one drink.

phone pinged from james roberston pkwy which is a bridge over the Cumberland with sidewalks on either side for pedestrians. the railing is about knee-height so i can imagine a wobbly 7' dude could easily have gone over it if there wasn't foul play.

the broken car windows along 1st ave. angle is interesting..that is right next to the river so its *possible* he ran into the perps and they rolled him and tossed him off the bridge.

if the latter, there will be virtually no way outside of video evidence to prove anything if he died as a result of a fall and given all the evidence of him stumbling all over downtown after being kicked out of the bar.

also his frat bros really showed up! they walked outside with him when he got kicked out then deserted him.

Here's a more detailed article.

One of his friends went down the exit with him, but went back into the bar. If Strain was as intoxicated as described, then the friend should have made sure to get him back to the hotel.

quote:

A local homeless man claimed he saw a “very, very intoxicated” Strain almost fall over the edge of a trail into the Cumberland River.
