re: Boom #1 *Disregard, Offical TD Talent Evaluator, NotAStarGazer says he won't start at LSU*

No, it is not. BTW, I made the same prediction about the current LSU QB Collins and I will stick with that also. I did say that assumed 2 QBs ahead of him didn't get injured. But yeah, I'm predicting the caliber of talent at LBer that LSU will have...last year's amazing class there gives a big clue. Obviously, I think I evaluate talent a lot better than you do. If you think that is retarded, so be it.

I have followed recruiting and your opinion about when evaluations start is from about 20 years ago. Why the hell are these 2026 and 2027 prospects visiting LSU THIS weekend...some of them are. And BTW, some kids clearly fall between the cracks from Podunk, LA. But this player is from Houston Northshore. Pretty sure a ton of football programs could draw you a map where that is. Recruiting starts well before a player's senior season.
BTW, here is an indication of who will be right. Some Kreskin type claimed he would be a top 50 player. I had to when I saw that. He is now about 300th best...low 4* is what I call that. By my projection and I believe theirs, he will not end up in the top 200 players AFTER his SR season. I also say his offers will improve...can't get any worse...but his offers will be consistent to that of a low 4* prospect.

You have never evaluated football players ever.

His recruitment has just now really started to take off. You are going to be eating shite in about 6 months lol

It’s a dog & pony show at this point. LSU wants to cast their net wide when these kids are impressionable. If they turn out to be good, then lsu has a leg up. Recruiting 9th graders is pointless & merely a formality most of the time. In actuality, the more mature ones tend to have limited improvement & the late bloomers tend to be the ones with the most upside.
The most important recruiting time for Jrs starts now. Spring 7 on 7 into summer workouts & camps. Not when they are in 8th grade lol.
Blake Baker is a Houston guy & was on him early. A kid with traits like this will blow up in the next 6mo.

I seriously lost it when all his comparisons were white LBs
I spit out my La croix
Ya let me compare a 10.48 guy to west weeks. Said no one ever

What cracks me up about the guy is that he’s essentially calling Blake Baker an idiot for taking this kid. Blake Baker, the freaking linebacker guru.

That first statement is BS. Ron Sancho was an OUTSTANDING LSU LBer who played alongside Eric Hill. Hill was a monster with speed and strength. But Sancho had mediocre speed at best but he analyzed the upcoming flow of a play very well and his tackling was very good. His first step in the right direction made up for his lack of speed. So absolutely not does every good player have speed. That is 100% a bogus statement.
As far as "recruitment taking off", so what...who is going to join the offer club...Princeton, Brown, Air Force?. Of course, he will get some more offers but as of now, his scholarship offer sheet is really weak.

So, how many football plays by a LBer depend on a 100m time? Oh yeah, it is 0.00000% of the plays. I thought I saw a 40 time of 4.7 but that seems too slow. But what some people get obsessed on is 100 yards/meters time. That really mostly affects WRers...OK, maybe Jayden Daniels. But I don't give a damn about 100m times for a LBer. What I'm interested in are 40 yard times, shuttle times, bench press numbers, his diagnosing of plays, etc.
BTW, I have no idea why you brought the race of the players into it. I used the Weeks brothers because they are current players, play LBer position, and I thought they were good comparisons. So you bringing race into as you did in the part I clipped from the quote was inappropriate, uncalled for, and ridiculous on its face.

How do you evaluate a player for a sport you’ve never even played? You’re a clown
Posted on 3/10/24 at 4:09 pm to NotaStarGazer
Lmao at saying a kid that is a junior in high school and still physically developing will never start at LSU.
Maybe don’t say dumb shite like that in a commitment thread.

I didn't call Blake Baker an idiot. I said he was worth a scholarship as a depth player but he wouldn't start for LSU. BTW, please quote me the place where Baker said Charles Ross would start anytime in his LSU career. Oh, and BTW, with his lack of offers, I assume you are now calling the 125+ football programs that have not offered Ross as being "idiots" right?
Posted on 3/10/24 at 4:13 pm to sunnydaze
Buffoon, you don't know who I am, what I have done or not done, etc. You are throwing up smoke because your lack of evaluation here has been exposed. Guy, magician tricks don't work with me. I don't get distracted over there while you post stupid assumptions over here.

Yet, it is OK to say that this player will be a great player at LSU right? That gets said all the time..."the kid is going to be a monster"..."this kid is going to be All American". I have to at your blatant hypocrisy unless you are calling out those projections also.

What’s the difference in his offer list and Billiot?

You are missing the point & showing your arse.
It’s not about running 100m. It’s about getting a rare verified speed time. You recruit traits that cannot be coached & you develop a football player around those said traits. They do it at every level with success.
At the end of the day, a guy that can run a 10.48 at 200lbs is objectively fast, no matter what distance he is running. There is zero reason to put stock into the distance as a 16 or 17yr old kid.

White LBs have not really been a thing in the SEC football the last 25yrs. Put 2 & 2 together. West Weeks can barely see the field & Tyler Grubbs is goin to be selling insurance when his career is over. So yea that’s kind of an insult comparison.
