from the coaching staff to the players, they were a proud representation of the city, wanted to be a part of the party with the fans and make them happy.

this new regime thinks they’re better than and smarter than the fans. they might be. but they seem to want to rub this fact in our faces and it’s not going to end well if this continues

They’re mainly just unlikeable people who are trying to squeeze every last drop out of a juiceless orange.

Do you mean like the previous coach who "retired" and then started coaching elsewhere because his new wife hated New Orleans?

Who specifically are you talking about? Did I miss something?

OP, I’m gonna need this explained

The ‘regime’ is Gayle Benson, Mickey Loomis, and Dennis Allen

Who’s ‘new’?

Or the previous owner who wanted to move the team to San Antonio?

mainly DA, but Mickey seems to be acting different ever since he took back some more power after Sean left

Mickey has the same power he always had. DA isn't new or even close to new.

This is a weird time to suddenly be this triggered so much that you try to make up a reason to be triggered. At least wait until after the draft. I'm sure there will be plenty of reason to be triggered then,

Now show me the list of names that were HC for a single team longer, and I’ll show you a list of Hall of Famers. Payton is a monumentally important figure to New Orleans, and owed us nothing more than he’d already given by the end. I struggle with how this is lost on people

DA being a leader is certainly new in the grand scheme of things and related to whom i was speaking of.

i’m not triggered i was just taking a coffee shite and scrolling through old highlights perusing MT’s tweets from this morning and noticed some truths about the good ol days. kinda seems like i triggered you tho hope your weekend gets better

What evidence do you have for any of this being true? How old are you that you get this in your feelings over a football team?

my evidence is mostly just the general vibes i get from being a fan and observing the team. pretty convincing evidence too

how old are you that you get this much in your feelings over a post on an internet board about the same football team?

Multiple things can be true about a person.

Payton was a great coach for NOLA but the end of his run wasn't great and the way he left and when were a bit of a bitter pill.

Sean and Drew were this organization. When they left, there were nothing but clowns left, thus turning the organization into a circus show.

This is a bad thing? I sure hope they are smarter and better at running an organization and playing football than the fans.

This is a stupid fickel "fan" post. Must have just started being a fan during the saints good years and never experienced change and losses prior to the Loomis -Payton -Brees era.

Winning and losing changes fans perceptions.

Nah they gave Derek Carr $150 million dollars. Even if you’re retarded enough to think Carr is a good enough quarterback to win deep in the playoffs, you have to at least acknowledge that no other organization was even remotely interested enough to give him anything close to the contract we gave him. Our front office got fleeeeeeeced. And the only argument you can hang your hat on is that “other front offices like the giants and browns are just as stupid as ours”
