I actually think that there is a bill that was filed for this upcoming session that says insurances can't charge a premium based on sex.
Eta: Looks like this is the 3rd time he's filed this bill. Will probably get shot down again because it will hurt profits.

I've often wondered why its not considered discrimination to charge more for a young male driver than a female. If they can do that then why can't they charge more based on race?
