Love of a child is at the top but love of self should be right behind it at #2, not at the bottom.

You are the only person you have to live your entire life with, so making yourself happy should come right after taking care of your children.

What an awful philosophy

I couldn't be a good father and my wife a good mother if we didn't intentionally focus on each other's well being.

You cheap bastard … $10k ?? You must be a poor, not even kidding .. if youre gonna incentivize them, and feel the need to bribe them- then at least make it worth their while in 2024 and beyond .

The Cult of Self is pretty intoxicating. Why sacrifice, work, worry, focus on others, love, discipline, fail, triumph, devote your time to things and events beyond your interest when you can essentially turn your life into an 80 year pleasurable jerk off ?

Having breakfast with my brilliant creative 25 year old daughter in 2 hours. Trust me, it’s not always fair or easy, but it’s worth it.

There are a lot of things you can devote yourself to besides having kids. Seth Rogen has multiple businesses and makes movies. That shite is pretty time consuming and fulfilling.

I worry for those of you that feel like your life would be empty without kids. What percentage of your life are you with your 25 year old daughter compared to yourself?

This is an idiotic statement in multiple levels. She can still procreate at 42 and they could adopt. Dummy

You might think so but it certainly doesn't feel this way from my shoes.

I mean I get it. Would you really want him re-populating anyway? Not everyone wants the white picket fence and minivan, Rand.

Some people just never truly mature, and that's fine. I'm glad he decided not to have children

Thank God he’s not reproducing! I wish more liberal a-holes like him would come to that conclusion.

He has probably done more of the things you insinuate he hasn't than most people on this board. All of those things listed can be done without children. Moreso, actually, since raising children is so time-consuming if you are a half-decent parent.

The idea that people not wanting to have kids is some kind of mental defect has always been baffling to me. Some of you go so far out of the way to prove that having kids was the best thing you could do in your life that it doesnt sound like it was the greatest decision at all plenty of times.

You and society force feed it to people that they should have kids to be happy. I dont have kids and never had the desire to. Im also not in the self cult and sitting around smoking weed all day on my porch. Should I have a kid because Lsupimp said I should or feel bad because youre looking down at me?

He’s not living in a shitty apartment no-showing a dead end job. He’s worth $80 million.

Not everyone who elects not to have kids is a slacker. In fact, lots of people have kids that shouldn’t. Even in the higher socioeconomic brackets I see so many parents that value their work and their hobbies/leisure time over their kids.

I'd also rather smoke weed and lay in bed all day than deal with idiot little kids
