Sevendust and Godsmack are Alternative Metal.
Rammstein is Industrial Metal
Five Finger Death Punch is Groove Metal
Slipknot is tough to figure where they go. They have extreme metal elements, but too melodic to be extreme metal. I think the cadence and pattern of vocals may lead to them being categorized as Nu Metal.
Mudvayne… no fn idea what to label them as. They could be alternative metal. They could be prog metal. They could be groove metal. Chevelle would also be alternative metal. They’re more influenced by Tool than anything like hip hop.
Three Days Grace isn’t a metal band.
I’m not too familiar with Gravity Kills but the other bands all have rap and hip hop influences.
