I went to a Cajun game to watch a friend's son play two weeks ago. Cajuns lost to Rice. Side note -- Rice's ace is salty. On way out stadium, two Cajun fans are talking, and one says, 'still a good day today, LSU lost to Stony Brook'. There are some that watch scores of every sport and when LSU loses, they consider that a personal win day. Poor bastards.

I know these kinds of people too. They root against the saints because they wouldn’t start Jake Delhomme. They are truly a miserable group.

Have a great uncle that lives out in Lafayette. He’s a massive ULL fan, and so is his family.

First time I went to his house when I was probably 4 years old and saw all the ULL memorabilia I was confused, as I grew up in an exclusively LSU family. I asked him what team that was and he told me. I said “why not just be an LSU fan?” And he said “oh no, we don’t like LSU”, and actually seemed bothered that I was advocating for LSU. I understand supporting your local college, but why do you have to hate LSU? Was confusing to me as a kid as it is to me now

I also like ULM and Tulane (LSU first and foremost by a mile). Don’t know why people can’t support multiple in state teams

I get the point, but can you imagine the sort of shite two LSU fans would say in a given moment?
Check here for example. Errbody has fans that say or think stupid or petty shite.

I think this quote from the great Stanley J (Skip) Bertman sums it up best:

"When LSU is in Omaha, USL is at lunch"

(He said this before they became ULL, so don't fret, ULL name-police)
