Figured this would be a fun topic to discuss.
In my personal opinion, I would say that he is. I mean, other than CMC, he’s easily the best dual threat rb I’ve seen.
What do y'all think?

Borderline. He had a couple sub-par seasons that I feel were not fully his fault. Last three years in particular haven't been really impressive. Pretty much since Brees left.

Certainly a Saints HoFer but I'm not sure he makes it to Canton to be honest. We'll see how Kubiak effects his career though but there isn't many more years left to make that mark.

I don't think so. He'd fall in the Hall of Very Good

He's got the talent. His biggest problem (which has also extended his career) is that he shared a backfield for the majority of his career. He likely won't have the career numbers he needs unless he keeps this pace for 5-7 more years.

Hard no.

RBs are going to have a harder time getting in, and there is a solid argument AK has never even been the best RB at any given year of his career.

He's never made a 1st team AP All-Pro selection.

He's only made 5 pro bowls.

Saints HOF? Yes.

NFL HOF? Someone is going to have to convince me even having this discussion isn't laughable.

Faulk & Tomlinson will always be the top 2 in my eyes, and some of the older posters will be able to rattle off a handful of others that should be rated higher than AK.

AK's roughly 10k all purpose yards ranks him 144th all-time and total TDs have him 78th. He has a long way to go to even be in consideration.

Saints HOF? Absolutely.

NFL HOF? I don't see it.

Definitely a Saints HoFer. Splitting carries hurts his stats for NFL HoF though. He probably needs to have multiple 1,000 yard seasons which is doubtful

No way. Chris Johnson had a 2000 yard season, 3 pro bowl appearances, and an Offensive Player of the Year award. He didn't even make the semi final list this year.

Are you trolling or are you very young?

He is not even close to a Pro Football Hall of Famer.

The answer is probably no, because the last 3 years he was tanked by Sean Payton and Pete Carmichael.

But he’s not THAT far off. He was on track with Marshall Faulk through their first 5 seasons. Through their first 7 seasons:

Compared to Ladanian Tomlinson:

Again, probably not, but we’ll see. Hopefully he has a late career boost. He’s got plenty of tread on the tire.

He had a shot, but no. He needed a few more years on a Brees offense to keep piling up yards from scrimmage.

Like cam Jordan, he was also a big loser in the no call game. A big Super Bowl puts cam Jordan in the HOF and really could have solidified Kamara as a playmaker of his generation.
