Fantastic idea...and when they send you a fine for your garbage can being in the same places its always been you can feel good about them doing what they are being paid to do...

Absolutely…because I keep my garbage cans where they are supposed to be.
I follow all of our HOA rules, just like damn near everyone in my subdivision. It’s why our neighborhood is pretty nice.

best be careful what you wish for, next thing you know you'll be getting a $500 fine because your garage door was open longer than your neighbor thought it should be..

Was length of time a requirement and signed off on when buying house?

It seems like the majority followed the agreed to rules when they purchased homes and likely good with Master’s short term rentals stopped. They don’t seem to be the ignorant ones with this.

Out of the 50 or so homes in the neighborhood about half of them are rented every year for the Masters. Ignorant fricks.

Our neighborhood is nice because we didn't buy a DSLD home that needed an organization to keep the bumpers up so that we know how to function as adults

No, but being illegal is. Which is why what OP stated. Or or should be but for pedo Joe and his ilk allowing this invasion. I don’t want illegals in my neighborhood, too bad if you don’t agree. Nor do I want multi/family in my neighborhood when I didn’t buy into that type of neighborhood. We will let the skin color slide bc this post is about illegals.

Congratulations!

I've let my neighbors watch me pick up their dog's shite from my yard and pile it in front of their door.

One neighbor had a son who put a snake in my mailbox. She was outside and watched as I threw it on her roof.

You’re slinging shite and snakes at your neighbors house, but y’all know how to function as adults?

Are you sure you don’t live in a DSLD neighborhood? Because it sure sounds like you live in a trashy neighborhood.

So we live in a quiet neighborhood that clearly prohibits sublets in the bylaws. The lady across the road (widow, 70ish) is now subletting to 2-3 guys that are rumored to be illegal immigrants. The HOA leader who is usually fire and brimstone on this stuff has some health issues and is backing off. It does not appear the lady has money issues and her family lives nearby.

What's your go-to here?

I know you want people to say dig in your heels. Fight for your property. Blah Blah Blah.

But if shite like this is happening there, my guess is that your neighborhood is likely trending downward. If there's one rental on the street, there's about to be more. I'd fix up everything, get the yard looking nice, repaint inside and change out door/cabinet hardware, then sell it and get the frick out.

Older neighbors + Sudden rentals = Time to go. Like, now.

How do you usually learn about your neighbors that move in?

OP states it as a possibility and with the influx it’s not unreasonable to think that.

“. . . subletting to 2-3 guys that are rumored to be illegal immigrants.”
