2 weeks isn't enough time to lose muscle unless you are very sick. I take 7 days off every 90 days and it has done wonders for me for repair/healing.
I would just maintain your regular diet. Are yo able to go for walks?
Back when I was bodybuilding I never took time off and I always had aches and pains etc. Being natty now the week off is a must and it makes a huge difference. I am stronger when I go back to the gym after a week off than I am when training 6 days a week. Don't be scared of time off from gym. Its hard to accept mentally but physically is a good thing.

He says no intense walking, so I just take my dog around the block and back and walk very slowly like I have to take a shite
