They’ll have active players that opt in on the game. I’m sure they will have it like previous games in which you can load custom rosters, in which I’m sure there will be people out there that will create old rosters for previous years

I hope youre right. IIRC this was one of the talking points of the lawsuit. Whats the point of opting out if the gane developers put in a back door to change the players name anyway

Probably not considering that feature is the catalyst for why the game ceased operations and NIL became a thing.
If for whatever reason a player doesn't opt in to have his likeness used in the game, I highly doubt there will be roster customization options so that they can be put in the game without them getting paid for it.
