Had motorcycles and four wheelers starting at about age 10.
The first bike Honda Shadow 500 I bought with my own money was in college. Sold it about two years later to a guy I worked with for more than I paid for it.
Went a long time without one and bought this guy in 2017, Victory Hammer S. Sold it a few years later after too many near collisions with people on their phones, not paying attention. Really liked that bike and it had a pipe upgrade which sounded really good. Unfortunately, Victory is now defunct.

Mine was an 1983 Honda Nighthawk 650 Blue. Easy, easy to ride. Loved parking next to the buildings my classes were in on LSU campus. Didn't like local drivers who didn't see me. Does make you a better rider / driver as you must be more aware.

My first Street Bike……
1973 Honda CB 350.
i had all 3 of those models, the CB, CL, and CJ
the CJ had the european cafe style to it
the CL had the exhaust just 2" below the fricking seat so if you put your feet down you burned your legs on it, that was a very terrible design
they were all great bikes that would do 90mph without any issue but thats where they topped out. i took a screwdriver to adjust as i rode it and got one to do 110 mph but it idled like shite so i had to set it back to where it was for normal riding
this is what the CJ looked like
this is what the CL looked like. how can you not burn your legs

Nighthawks were great bikes. My best bud in high school had 1985 700 in Blue.

My last street bike, first was a Honda 50 when I was 14 years old.
1977 Kawasaki 1000 LTD modified with a Kerker exhaust, hotter ignition system, smooth bore carbs and a 1015 kit. Front fender removed to save weight. Side covers wired onto the frame or they'd blow off. Wicked fast for its time.
Great bike, best I ever owned.

i bought this kawasaki 305 CSR off ebay and drove to indiana to pick it up with my dad. after replacing the starter, i learned how to ride on a bike just like this. to me, i enjoyed riding, but the risk was too great and i decided to sell the bike probably 5 years ago.

I had the exact same bike.(Posted a different picture)
Bought it in 1988 from my uncle who parked it in his shed in 1985. I paid him $2500 for it and rode it until I traded it in on a '95 750 Nighthawk

I preferred the scrambler CL version over the CB-350. Both great bikes though

I’m not partial towards motorcycles, but that’s a smart looking bike.

Hell yeah...
My first bike when I was 12, going to pick up another one in a few weeks hopefully
Regret getting rid of it for a KX125....don't get me wrong, the KX was a way more powerful bike but that KE was hell of alot of fun for 11hp

1999 Wide Glide which I got near Myrtle Beach, SC.
Intended to ride just to learn on, but still have and ride it.
Handles beautifully and is more of a dance than a ride.
This reminds me - it is about time to apply for the antique tag.
