Pro fishing now is just watching guys scaring at livescopes, SAD

I don't mind it when they show the side by side screen but without it, I agree it sucks.

As opposed to just staring at the water?
I don’t understand the whining about this.

I think it has to do with the camera showing the cast and the anticipation of a big strike vs a fairy wand dropping a 3" minnow on their head.
I am a power fisherman mostly so I may be a little bias. I do know that I will be trying that technique with my Active Target next trip I make in some deeper water.

I expect that it isn’t as easy as these guys make it seem.

Not at all. I have played around with it but never just devoted a whole day doing it. I will be doing it soon though. Might as well join the crowd if it is more efficient and is productive.

The main reason I haven’t added it is I pretty much only fish Jack millers and spillway. Other than maybe a trip to the bend in a year.

I have a camp in Pigeon so that is my home area too.

Pat Schlapper maintains his lead after Day 3 of the Gamakatsu Bassmaster Elite at Toledo Bend with 78 pounds.
Will it become a century belt?

Unofficially, Fujita has broke the 100lb mark.

2 6lbs in a row then a 5 to replace the 4… impressive
ETA: lands a 6.5lbs

Fujita has put on a clinic for FFS technology. I don’t really have the patience for it, but I think I’m going to need to rethink my approach moving forward and dedicate more time in to learning it better.

This is part of my reason for not getting it. I have nothing against it. I hear a lot of people against it saying it’s going to hurt population. I’m pretty sure weekend anglers are not as good as these guys. For me, most of my enjoyment of fishing is trolling and making bunch of cast and just fishing.

Some arse klown got on step at the pavilion and rolled out to the left. Either a stupid arse local or someone is about to have a bad day. It is a no wake zone at least 75 yards past it with a boat lane going straight out.

I’ve got it but mainly have used it in targeting marked brush piles and occasionally for ledge fishing when they’re schooled up to just get a line on them. Definitely have never used it for chasing suspended fish in open water with ultralight tackle like these guys are doing. Different ballgame, baits and equipment that’s definitely counter to how I’ve fished for them since…forever lol.

Fujita is a member of the century club. 100lbs broken on Toledo Bend, 20 bass, with no double digits in the tournament.
