Not gonna waste thousands of dollars on funeral and burial. Leave it all to wife and kids. I will be with the good Lord

Wife no longer in the picture (divorced, sorry no pics) but I want to be buried here where my children are growing up. It is the only place I've ever lived that felt like I belonged.

Grew up around Baton Rouge. I hate going back in life and sure as hell don't want to in death.

Screw getting buried anywhere. I plan on being well done in the big ole broiler and then hopefully shot off an aircraft carrier just for fun.

I from north LA but BR has been home for the last 24 years. Wife, kid, and we’ve made our home here.
I’ll be buried here as will the funeral take place here. This is home and home is where your church is.

Ideally will be buried in my hometown cemetery where 4+ other generations are buried. But, I want a green burial, which is hard to come by. Hopefully it’ll be more widely practiced when my time comes. Hopefully someone will come by every so often. I still put flowers on the two sets of great grandparents who are buried in BR. I never met them. My mom takes care of the flowers in my hometown. Guess I’ll take that on too, when she can’t do it anymore. Racking up the good karma hopefully.

Cremate me. I’m not here anymore so no need to visit me.

I was born in a different state where my parents happened to be living at the time and moved away when I was 3. Growing up, we moved several more times and I have no ties to those places anymore. Graduated from high school in the town my parents still live in, but I never really cared for the place and they will not be buried there. Parents will be buried where my mother grew up, but it is a place where I do not have happy memories so I do not want to be buried there. (Plus it’s a place that has been slowly dying for 50 years and once my mother’s generation dies off there will be no one left anyway.) I could be buried where I live now, but I don’t feel particularly connected here either. Divorced so don’t have to think about being buried with a spouse.

I’ve thought about being buried in Auburn (in a real cemetery and not sprinkled in the end zone) as that’s the place I’ve felt most at home in my life. Maybe my kids will swing by on game weekends.

I will be buried in the main cemetery right here in my hometown of Ponchatoula where most of my family is buried. We have a huge plot that has been in family for years.

Have my ashes spread on Lesion Field so my survivors will know there’s a superheated a-hole they knew there every time the Tigers visit.

Appropriately on A Day:

Sorry for the rare triple post, the WiFi here at the LePavillion sucks.
