This is just a dumb statement. We've had super bowl and world series parades and this is our first incident. We also have a huge st Patrick day parade every year and we don't have this shite happen. The whole city is pissed at these frickheads.

Is KC a crime ridden shithole like St Louis?

The city “limits” have the exact same demographic issues. Fortunately, KC is one gigantic suburb and they’re some of the nicest in the country, hell, the majority of the metro area lives in Kansas for a reason.
The boondoggle to move the Royals downtown is just that, a grift. If they stay at the sports complex w/ the Chiefs, ownership will balk that the Jackson County, Mo. tax payers won’t pony up for improvements & if they move downtown the suburbanites won’t show up & they’ll play the blame whitey in the suburbs card when the whole plan has always been to sell the team to a new city, they’ll be the Nashville/Charlotte/Indianapolis Royals by 2035.

New press conference…

Mayor, police chief, fire chief

1 dead, 22 injured

Police interviewing injured at hospitals

No motive as of now

Mayor now teases about guns being a problem; no police can fix this problem; holds back, careful with words

There was a pursuit of one suspect

Firearms were recovered, at least 1

3 suspects in custody

Scene cleared and made safe, investigators there

Interviews underway with victims and witnesses

Pace is fast

Don’t know number of shots or duration

Everything happened outside Union Station

That’s all.

Nearly every thing you said in this post is wrong, but since this thread is about a tragic shooting I'm just going to leave it at that.

Really sickening to see the MAGA posters act like this is no big deal or that the victims deserved it.

Way wrong. This is the last thing the KC Royals want to see as they announce their new downtown stadium location.

How?
I grew up in KC, parents, sister, & majority of family still lives in the city and Jackson County. My BIL is a member of the sports media, he used to have his own post game Chief’s show when Time Warner was your cable provider and that’s exactly what it is.
Here’s a major hint why is J.E. Dunn do intricately involved in this decision?

The majority of the metro is not on the Kansas side.

People will go to the new stadium. They're wanting to put it just on the other side of the highway from the Tmobile center which they have no problem filling up for events.

There is no plan to sell and move the royals. They have a local ownership group that is committed to keeping the team in kc.
