Victory Wembanyama has made more 3s than Brandon Ingram this season

Ingram 70/196 35.7%
Wembanyama 75/235 31.9%
I know a lot of y'all are tired of people being negative because this team is a B- instead of an A+ But after waiting 4 years to finally see these guys play together, the ceiling sure as hell looks a lot lower than we all thought.

A lot of people are going to come in here and blame coaching, but Willie has mentioned in his press conferences multiple times that they need BI to take more threes, just like he's mentioned Zion needing to be more aggressive.
And they just... won't do it.
Both guys have the talent, but they clearly don't have the mentality to take over games night in and night out.
It's the biggest thing holding this team back. When we drafted Zion and traded AD for the haul that we got, the plan was not for a Batman & Robin scenario with Zion and BI, it was supposed to be Batman 1 & Batman 2. Instead we got two Robins who will masquerade as a Batman every now and then, but not enough to be the real thing.

What does it say about Popovich that he is letting him shoot that many 3s. I think I would want my giant under the rim rebounding misses and making easy follow up layups.

I think Zion is doing exactly what he is told to do. Last year he was driving to the basket constantly and was averaging 30 ppg in the last 10 games before he got injured. I think they told him to take it easy so he won't get hurt.

A large reason for this is BI being too hesitant to take enough 3's (particularly when we're going with Point Zion); but an even larger reason for this is Wemby takes WAY too many 3's.

This BI should be hesitant to shoot 3s. Of guys averaging 2+ attempts per game BI is 8th on the team and that means there's usually someone with a better shot.
