Depending upon where you are, New Orleans Mardi Gras is very kid friendly. We brought our 2 year old to Iris and Tucks this past weekend and hung out around St. Charles/Napoleon, she had a great time playing with her friends and there was nothing about the day that wasn't "kid friendly"
