We are now the greatest exporter of oil in the world but muh pipeline.

Please expound upon the reasons why our SPR levels are at wholly unprecedented and historic lows.

Our executive branch, especially our Department of Energy, is led by short-sighted nitwits.

and the stock markets are going up for absolutely no reason at all when they should be hitting new lows.

Why should they be at new lows and what is the government doing to prop it up?

Does the SPR really matter that much when you are the #1 oil producer on the planet?

Not near me. I'm in Illinois.

They went down to 3.09 a few weeks ago, but they're back up to 3.30+.

I’m acknowledging normal market forces. I’d be pretty suspicious if the price didn’t ever change.

Yeah...I wasn't addressing you. Mocking others that think a very short term dip in prices is somehow a sign of election rigging. It's pure mental retardation.

Latest data updated.

Looks like the U.S. average for regular gasoline is up 4.1 cents per gallon from last week’s report.

Agree 100% . Last week was paying $2.69 a gallon for credit card payment. This week $2.99 a gallon. Please , I don't think the price of gas is dropping.

Umm... Yes. Yes, it does matter that much. Not only is it a strategic surplus, but it is also equity that keeps us more stable.

There is no reason why the US cannot be refilling the SPR and simultaneously remaining the world's #1 petroleum exporter.
