Looking to add a lean-to cover to side of metal barn. Dimensions would be 16’ tall by 20’ wide by 40 feet long. No floors walls or doors.

Any ideas on what this would cost in Lafayette LA area?

That is my original plan but the height poses an issue. That requires 18+ foot vertical supports . More important I need the joists to span at least 14 feet in width without a middle vertical support to provide some entrance and exit turning radius because I don’t have the space to turn a 30’ travel trailer plus my f 250 fully straight before turning into lean too.

4 inch metal posts on concrete footings. LVL's for the beams. With a simple sketch the lumber yard can send to get the beams sized for the loads.

Both of those are easy to accommodate with lumber. It'll be the cheaper way if cost is a concern.

Send me an email, I’m in Lafayette we build these pretty often. I can get you a roundabout price based upon what exactly you’re looking for.
