Houston gets Adams, Memphis gets Victor Oladipo and Miami gets 3 2nd round picks. Good trade for Houston for next year. They need a true big off the bench because Sengun gets bullied by guys like Jonas.

I think Adams is a free agent, I could be wrong though.

Why does Miami get anything?
I think that is wrong.

I get why Houston did it. Need an enforcer and mentor for Sengun. And a leader. Lot of clowns on that team.

He has one year left - $12m, but at 31 and now sidelined for a year and a half with a serious knee injury, id imagine his career is all decline from here on.

Miami has to be sending something, even a fake euro stash, but something.

Have not seen Miami mentioned in this deal at all.

I think you’re mistaken about Miami being involved, they haven’t been mentioned by anyone. Heres the details on the picks

ESPN Sources: Details on Houston's picks to Memphis in Adams trade --- 2024 second-round pick via OKC, a conditional '24 second-rounder most favorable of Brooklyn’s own (protected 55-58) and Golden State’s own (protected 56-58); a 2025 second-rounder (more favorable of Houston’s own).

OP must've forgotten that Miami traded Oladipo a long time ago. First to OKC in a salary dump trade. Then OKC traded Oladipo to Houston for Kevin Porter Jr. (salary dump) and 2nds.

So no, Miami not involved in this trade at all. Oladipo was on Houston's roster, now on Memphis' roster after this trade.
