Context:
- I'm a child of the 80s
- I regularly slap my wife's arse & did so to girlfriends before her from HS until my wife/now.

I cannot for the life of me remember my parents let alone my grandparents every slapping arse. And to think about it just feels really unrealistic that it ever happened.

If you are on any social media over the last 5-10+ years we are conditioned to know that slapping dat arse is something we all do, it's just normal in a healthy relationship as 100,000s post about it.

So, we're my parents & grandparents in unhealthy relationships? Will our kids know & realize that we are in healthy relationships? Or was there some previous form of arse slapping we don't seem to realize/context & what will be the future form of arse slapping...?

Slapping your wife's arse is fine.

Slapping your wife's arse in front of your kids is trashy and sets a terrible example.

In order for you to be here, your grandmother had sex, AND I bet she even liked it.

Your parents were swingers of the 70s, and saved all the kinky stuff for the bedroom.

you may not remember but your dad and grandpa were slapping that arse, both in the kitchen and on the bed while hitting it.

The “arse” thing is media manipulation created by big ag and companies like Coke to make men more accepting of obesity created by eating corn products and seed oils

They definitely did back in the day.

They were probably just responsible adults and didn’t do it in front of the children.

My dad did it to my mom quite often. His favorite was when she was baking. He would get a light coat of flower on his hands then leave hand prints on her pants.

Fast forward to now. My GF gets upset if I walk by and don't grab her arse. She thinks something may be wrong.
