11 free bases in 7 innings is not good.

I ignore the runners that are put on base to start innings. This causes differences between my scoring and others. It also is the reason why some innings start with a batter getting a Fielder's Choice score.

The format that Jay uses for these scrimmages to put players in different scenarios causes some discrepancies in the stats and score. Most innings start with a runner on first and sometimes on the corners to simulate different positions and induce plays that wouldn't normally be applicable with a lead off batter.

While it was a grand slam because of this factor the lead baserunner would not have been counted on a real life scorecard like Scuba keeps.

We should be extremely thankful that he does an excellent job of keeping score and stats for us to review because the scoring system that Jay uses makes it impossible to decipher who won the scrimmage on runs alone.
