Can you say more about this?

so the protein in egg whites is pretty fast acting

the protein in egg yolks is slower than egg whites due to the added fat that is with in.

overall whole eggs are slower than whites because of the added fat.

but as mentioned cottage cheese is more of a casein protein which is very slow releasing. tends to keep you much fuller longer

its why protein blends that have casein in it tend be much more satiating. Same with foods that have fat vs really lean foods

and yea the low fat recommendation is more of just a calorie thing but also i would rather see people consuming more fat from the egg yolk from a pasture raised source than from a cottage cheese. I dunno many people that can get fresh cottage cheese direct from the farm....so it more of a quality thing more than calorie to an extent

i know many on here think i dont care about the quality of the food...but i do. many times i just say it doesnt have the effect of fat loss like many claim and that for most the health benefits of a diet come from the fat loss

in your case or mine, being people that are already in relatively good shape and doing things right, would much rather see you get some very high quality fats from egg yolks than cottage cheese

some other good fat source you can add to this if you have the calories would be high quality avocado, either slice and put on top or even drop into the blender with it, will have the eggs even fluffier

can add very high quality krill oil, a homemade paleo mayo to the eggs after cooked, kerrygold cheese, kerrygold butter mashed in etc.
