what about for someone trying to decrease their LDL? eating regular eggs okay?

Unless you are the rare person that is especially sensitive. egg consumption won't significantly raise your blood cholesterol. Some studies even show higher egg consumption raises HDL thus reducing LDL/HDL ratio.

Blood cholesterol is primarily generated by the liver and is more associated with saturated fat consumption. So eat the eggs, but avoid the cheese, bacon, sausage, and white toast with them.

Nice to hear. I eat a half dozen eggs per day. I’ll have bloodwork done in the next few months, so I’ll get to see if my lipid profile has changed significantly.
