Any reasonable Axis Hunts in Texas that you may have hunted? Looking for meat no trophy.

Can you define what reasonable means to you and how far you're willing to travel?
And free range or high fence?

Can you define reasonable? If you are looking for a meat hunt and to shoot Axis does then on the very cheap end you will be paying 400 a piece, but more than likely over 500 a piece. If you are looking for a decent buck then on the very cheap end you will be paying 2500 dollars, but more than likely over 3000 dollars.
The freeze of 2021 completely decimated some Axis and black buck herds so the supply and demand is lower on the supply side.
If your heart isn't set on an Axis and its the meat you are more interested in then I would recommend searching for a broken horn Scimitar Oryx hunt. Once their horns are broken they are sold at a discount and to me their meat is better than Axis. You can get a broken horned Scimitar Oryx hunt for 900-1200 dollars and they are a good bit bigger than an Axis.
