Boat sank, I call bull shite.
Who has a Yak on a fishing boat, specially in Cancun area.

They went for a ride from shore, and fricked up.

Its pretty common for sailboats to have them to use to get ashore where there ain't no docks. Make a pretty good dinghy all things considered. In this case made a pretty good life boat...

my thoughts exactly but apparently I stand corrected also. Iknow nothing about sailboats though.

I think Drop4Less is on the right track. Just securing a kayak on any boat is difficult; getting it loose is nigh impossible unless you're really good at marlinspike. These two?

Or are they immigrants who don't want to wade the Rio Grande?

17 passengers on a 26 ft boat. Yeah, I’m sure it did take on some water.
