Also though, the widow/disabled thing, that's what life insurance and long term disability are for, my wife wouldn't have to work if I died

So after all of the divorce threads on the OT, does anyone think that if a high earning husband divorced his wife she’d be left high and dry? I have a feeling if I ever split with Ms Squatch her income would stay the same, she’d be in the house and I’d be living in a van down by the river working my arse off.
