Pretty sure there was something prior to ESD for football. A lot of posts were unpinned and never returned

Far as I know they have zero commitments. Couple of prospects they were after in the early period signed elsewhere. Still in the running for Sarah Strong who’s supposed to be committing somewhere soon. Going to have to hit the portal hard.

So far they only have Jada Richard from LCA committed and signed. #1 player in La.

Sh was at the game last night they showed her on coverage.

They have no commits for 2025.

This team could be absolutely stacked if

- Reese and HVL return.
- they sign or get a transfer true top notch PG.

HVL can't control a game from the PG position. That was a huge key in SC winning last night. Their PG facilitated almost every single thing on that final run. HVL, on the flip side, cost LSU big time at the end of the second and fourth quarter with bad decisions and turnovers. I don't mean this as a knock on HVL. She's pretty good, but she could help the team more if she was playing the 2.

If Morris couldn't make a WNBA team Van Lith likely won't make it either

Richard and I'm guessing LSU will look to portal

Yep. That is all I can find as well.

I will say, though, that Jada is by far the best female player to come out of LCA and they have been in every state final in their division in WBB since 2017 (7 straight), winning all but 2020. Jada has been their point guard for the last 3 that they have won. They will probably be there again this season.

Grad transfer doesn't necessarily mean she's on her last year of eligibility. That being said, I don't even know what classification she is. Its already a shite show with people playing in college for 5-6-7 years these days. I'm damn sure not keeping up with it in women's college hoops.

Sarah Strong has yet to commit and she is the number one player in the Nation. She played 3 on 3 ball with Makayla Williams this past summer. It’s a Connecticut vs LSU fight. I eventually feel like she picks LSU.

HoopGirlz

Shows top 100 commits. We only have 1 player for 2024 in the top 100.

I don’t wanna be that guy, I think jada will be solid eventually but recruits like that in WBB (ranked 70-100) generally need 2-3 years before they can contribute at a level needed. So LSU is going to have to portal really hard this off-season

HVL graduated year early from Louisville with 3.87 GPA. This is her 4th year at LSU, and has covid year next year, if she chooses to come back.

Richard is a true point guard, but ranked 90-something player.

Looking at that list just shows USC getting stronger and us not so much. Staley has 3 of the top 25 players signed, we have the 97th best player signed. Not gonna help with depth.

Kim said she delegated a lot this year on the recruiting trail to Redus and Daphne with the health issues she dealt with, unfortunately it didn't turn out well.

Sarah Strong (#1 player in the country 2024) is still in play, thats a must. But if not they will have to be aggressive in the portal and just hit 2025 cycle hard.
