We have already created one of the top 2-3 environments in women’s bball. The nil opportunities at LSU are far greater than anywhere else for the ladies. Kim may be thinking of taking an approach similar to ole miss football and fill more so with portal talent. Morrow was an incredible get. HVL has not lived up to billing, but is playing out of position too. Women almost never leave early so you can get an elite fresh or soph from another school and have them 2 to 3 years still.

1. I heard KM say that everyone on this year's squad COULD come back in 24-25.
2. We have some good young players who I believe Kim and staff will develop. Kent, Del Rosario, Velez (PG) to name three.
3. Sa'mayah Smith will be back in the fall. THAT is big, IMO.
4. Getting Sarah Strong (6'2" power player who can do anything on the court.) would be big.

If they are able to get Strong and Richard we will be good next year. Even if HVL and Reese leave, and that’s a big if, you still have Del, Samyah, and Morrow for the 4 and 5’s. Strong is 6-2 and could add a fourth. I hope Kent or Velez can start contributing this year. I don’t know that Richard will be a contributor immediately. I think HVL may leave, but would be surprised if Reese did. She’s making good money.

I think Reese goes to the WNBA.

Morrow coming back would be huge. I feel like Angel will stay another year.
