I’d watch his first tournament just because it’s an interesting story, but I think a lot of people are severely over estimating his game and popularity.

People would absolutely tune in to watch an individual, Anthony Kim, play in a tournament.
This board is a golf board, for golf talk. It SEVERELY overestimates how golf resonates to the general public at times. Anthony Kim is not going to cause any needle movements in ratings at all
The smart play is for the PGA to hope and pray LIV signs him, but I don’t think they are dumb enough for that

I think there would be intrigue from golf twitter/golf nerds for a couple weeks. But I feel like it would die down pretty quickly, especially if he wasn’t in contention.

Friend just sent me this. His golf swing looks even better than it did 15 years ago.
Doubt it’s this year, but he might play a PGA event or two then bounce to LIV in 2025.

Has AK said anything about this? Crazy that this is coming about now. Is his settlement over? Or will someone pay it off for him? If someone pays it off why wouldn’t they have paid it off years ago. Callaway paid off Phil’s gambling debt, this would have been nothing for them. Seems odd and unlikely he comes back.

Kim was a stud and I miss his antics. I would love to see him come back, but I am afraid it will probably be to LIV.

I'd love to see Anthony back. He's smart enough to know if his game is ready or not. Dude made it to top 10 in the world in like a year and a half. Destroyed Sergio 5/4 in the Ryder Cup and didn't even know the match was over.
