Well the first dude I responded to apparently supports the mandates. He said something along the lines of hoping that everyone he sees with black nasty smoke coming out is forced to drive an EV...
Edit, A Pew research poll showed about 40% of American support EV mandates. Pretty large percentage if you ask me...
