So would your orthodontist.

If someone were intentionally trying to get cavities, I firmly believe the directions would include simply eating a few boxes of Milk Duds and/or Dots and going to bed without brushing.
Not only do they give you cavities, these then will rip out the filling. Must be a conspiratorial brain child of the dentist guild as best as I can surmise

Sugar Daddy is a sucker. You don’t chew it; you suck it like an awesome caramel lollipop. (You are correct, though. Watching someone eat them is disgusting. They should be rapturously consumed in solitude.) Always crave these in the Fall. Getting harder and harder to find, though. (Except at Cracker Barrel.)

Sugar Daddy - When I was a kid it came with a long narrow picture of an animal with background information on the back side. For me that was the best part. When they stopped including it, I stopped buying it.

old school = Fun Dip
My dad pretty much left the feeding, clothing, and general parenting of the kids to my mom, but I remember one time he walked in and my brother and I had fun dip.
He asked what it was, we said basically flavored sugar you eat with a spoon made of sugar. He couldn’t wrap his mind around that and said no and took it from us.
Running to mom and saying dad won’t let us eat spoons full of sugar didn’t get us very far.

Oh, it has nostalgia, but as a gum it is just awful.
